Blasted Heath or Precious Wasteland? Evening Talk

Mike Coates from the RSPB Farnham Heath Reserve joins us for an evening exploring the heritage of the heathland in our local area. The night will start with a talk about the history of the heath in our village hall, where a free glass of wine/beer/soft drink is provided upon arrival. Snacks and cheese platters can be purchased separately during the refreshment break. We then head out onto the heathland for a guided walk to explore the heath up close and observe the rich habitats that can be found within in it. The nightjars will hopefully provide some pleasant song to mark the end of the evening. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for an outside walk in the weather conditions on the night.
