Our Car Boot Sales, organised by the Rustics, begin at 8am and end at midday, free to buyers! Sellers can set up from 7:30am. The Café is open from 8am today.
The Surrey Jaguar Enthusiasts Club (JEC) will be returning to the museum accompanied by members of the West Sussex JEC. There will be a host of cars on display from classic E-types to modern performance vehicles. A must-attend event for all Jaguar lovers.
This year we are introducing an exciting new event to appeal to all the family. Activities will vary each month, but may include mini talks and tours to learn more about the museum and the stories it tells. There will be interesting demonstrations and usually you may be able to have a go! Sometimes there might just be an exciting extra feature, such as the “Teddy Bears Picnic” arranged for May.
Put on your dancing shoes and head down to the Frensham Building for an evening of ‘50s Rock ‘n’ Roll. The Roosters will be returning to the Rural Life Centre for one evening only, make sure you don’t miss this fantastic live band. Doors open 7.30pm.
Join Ellie from Wonderwood Explorers for an afternoon of woodland based activities. Learn about solstice traditions around the fire and create woven decorations to take home. A new event for 2019. Visit the museum and enjoy some Americana and Bluegrass music in our rustic Frensham building. Guest musicians will entertain with their own style of American roots style tunes. Certainly one not to miss. Event starts at 2pm.
