May 5th: Car Boot Sale

Our Car Boot Sales, organised by the Rustics, begin at 8am and end at midday, free to buyers! Sellers can set up from 7:30am. The Café is open from 8am today.

May 12th & 13th : A Village at War

Experience many of the sights and sounds of a World War Two village.  Harking back to 1944, the museum is alive with civilian and military personnel.  There will be music and dance tuition, military demonstrations, re-enactments and much more. Visit this weekend for an immersive experience and find out what Great Britain was like nearing the end of the War.

May 19th : Super Saturday

Activities will vary each month, but may include mini talks and tours to learn more about the museum and the stories it tells. There will be interesting demonstrations and usually you may be able to have a go! Sometimes there might just be an exciting extra features.


May 19th & 20th : Double LL Club meeting

A group of machinery and collection enthusiasts have adjusted their goggles in readiness for a return visit to the museum.

May 27th : Bus & Coach Rally

Enjoy a day of passenger power with the ever-popular Bus & Coach Rally. A whole range of vintage vehicles will be on parade, some of which will be taking visitors for a nostalgic ride through the local lanes. This promises to be a day when a passion for the past takes a front seat. The day will also feature free vintage bus rides and there will be stalls displaying memorabilia.
