May 18th : Super Saturday

This year we are introducing an exciting new event to appeal to all the family. Activities will vary each month, but may include mini talks and tours to learn more about the museum and the stories it tells. There will be interesting demonstrations and usually you may be able to have a go!

May 18th & 19th : Double LL Club meeting

A group of machinery and collection enthusiasts have adjusted their goggles in readiness for a return visit to the museum.

May 19th : Teddy Bears Picnic

Venture in the centre today to enjoy a host of Teddy Bear related activities. Bring your teddy along and have a picnic in the grounds.

May 26th : Bus & Coach Rally

Enjoy a day of passenger power with the ever-popular Bus & Coach Rally. A whole range of vintage vehicles will be on parade, some of which will be taking visitors for a nostalgic ride through the local lanes. This promises to be a day when a passion for the past takes a front seat. The day will also feature free vintage bus rides and there will be stalls displaying memorabilia.

May 30th : Activity Thursday

Find out old-fashion clothes washing with a mangle! There will be period toys to play with and of course the very popular rocket launching! The giant dolls’ house and period toys fascinate the youngest children, while others tackle the pole lathe and ‘milk the cow’.

Normal Museum admission charges apply.
