There is so much to see and do at the Rural Life Living Museum. An ancient site, historic countryside buildings, a large collection of implements and objects from rural life, machinery, cycles, fire engines and much more….. Welcome. Come in. Explore.
Learning
Be Curious. Be inspired. We welcome school visits, youth group sessions, host adult courses and work in partnership with our community on our outreach programme. We have collection-based loan boxes available for classrooms and community groups to hire. It's what our museum does best: learning and discovery - come and see us and be inspired!
Private Hire and Events
Have fun. Celebrate. Get work done. We have private hire options for all occasions: vehicle rally's, sales events, business meetings, staff volunteer days, parties, weddings, wakes, heritage filming and much more. Hire our unique space for your special event or team day. Enjoy our rural setting and surrounding countryside as we help organise the day.
