Loan Boxes

Loan boxes, designed to enhance learning with real historic artefacts, can be loaned out from the museums learning team. Available for schools, youth groups, care homes, or community groups, the loan boxes are an excellent way to bring history to life.

Please ensure that these objects are handled carefully, with two hands, always. They should be placed on stable even surfaces. Many of these are original artefacts.

We have a variety of loan and reminiscence boxes available at the museum:

• 1950s Reminiscence box

The cost is £20 for a three-week duration, in addition to a refundable deposit.
