The Grounds Team are responsible for maintaining and developing the Museum’s 10-acre estate. They keep us looking our best, all year, whatever the weather! If you like being outdoors and getting stuck in, the Grounds Team could be the place for you!

The Grounds Team undertake a wide variety of tasks, many of them seasonal from leaf clearing, to grass cutting, hedge cutting, fencing, tree maintenance to road and pathways maintenance.

Training in the use of a variety of equipment, from ride on mowers, to strimmer’s, blowers and tractors will be given, a current UK driving licence is useful but not essential. The Grounds Team have a broad range of knowledge and abilities, and come from diverse backgrounds, if you like to get stuck in, have an impact, and enjoy standing back to admire your work with a good cup of tea, then the Ground Team could be for you.
