Special Events Team

Special events draw on volunteers from all over the Museum to produce special events as part of our public programme, from the smallest event to the largest, there is always set-up, take down and event logistics to deal with. All Museum volunteers can take part, but new volunteers who perhaps can only be available on an ad-hoc basis might like to concentrate in this area. Special event usually occur at weekends with some setup during the week before and we would welcome anyone interested in events and events management to take part in making events at the Rural life museum some of the best in the area.

Special Events Team Details

The Special Events Team is a flexible entity as our events calendar changes each year and we do not hold events every weekend.

Generally, the Special Events Volunteers will be required to help set up and break down events on the days before and after they take place.

Volunteers are also needed to help on the days of events with such tasks as Car Parking Marshals, Stewarding and MCing among others.
